VolunteerDr. Om Prakash Varma is Doctorate (PHD) holder; he has done DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) form Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Bihar. He possesses expert knowledge and skills in homeopathic.
Dr. Varma has served in Bihar Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Bihar for more than five years in 1977 to 1982, He were also served there as examiner. Afterwards Dr. Varma was in Practice for more than 10 years.
Afterwards Dr. Varma is fully active in social work. He is working as a Social Worker since last 30 year.
From 1994 to 2009 Dr, Varma was associated with Svayam Sahayata Samuh (NGO) i.e. Sita Mahila avm Bal Vikash Kendra, Bihar. Under the aggies of above NGO, he has worked to promote, educate, and trained more than 500 women for work, self-employment and also worked for their social upliftment and make them self-dependent.
Further, during this association he has looked whole district for social work/programme launched by the Govt of Bihar, to promote and support girls and women for education and work.
Dr. Varma was also worked for conservation of environment, organized various events with own fund and with the help of schools and NGO’s for tree plantation, environmental awareness. He is actively participating, educating and supporting the people for the conservation of nature and natural resources.
Further, he has also organized lot of camps for the operation of cataracts (Motiyabind) in Buxar, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
Apart from the above a lot of work for upliftment of women, aadiwasi’s and various strata of society and conservation of environment has been done and he is always active and ready for all type of social work and support.
Dr. Anuradha Jha has done her MSC and Doctorate (PHD) in Zoology.
Dr. Jha has served for 32 years as teacher and administrator in Government Women's College, Gardanibagh, Patna, Bihar.
Dr. Jha was actively participated in the Social Movements, Land March in Bodhgaya (Bodhgaya Bhumi Andolan) for land reform in Bihar and to give land right to women.
Dr. Jha also worked for educational and ideological upliftment of women in Bihar
She participated in Agitation and conducted and attended various seminars for 33% reservation of women in state Assembly and Parliament, which is now passed as Women’s Reservation Bill, 2023 by the Govt. of India.
She has worked in west Bengal for the education and awareness between of Aadiwasi women, also did their counselling for self-employment, Kutir Udhyog.
She learned about the social work from her father, her father was a freedom fighter and a social worker, who has setup various schools, ponds in rural areas for upliftment.
Since 2020 Dr. Jha is serving in Anti Women Harassment Committee (PWD) of Govt. of Bihar.
